Low Temperature Resistant Protection

'Lo' displayed on the unit is valid in standby cooling and fan mode. This shows the low temperature resistant protection is triggered and it's detected the ambient temperature is lower than 10℃ (50℉) consecutively for 3 minutes. Another term for this behaviour is named Room Freeze Protection.

How long would it take to resolve the issue on its own?

Once the indoor ambient temperature reaches above 13℃ (55℉), the low temperature resistant protection will be stopped. This means the 'Lo' will disappear and the indoor temperature will be displayed.

How to Disable this feature?

We do not recommend disabling this feature, it's built as a safety feature within the unit. However, if needed, there are two ways to display, 1) disabling dip switch #5, 2) unplugging the unit or 3) clicking heat mode.
