How to Clean Your PTAC Filters

1. Turn Off the Unit: Turn off the PTAC and unplug it from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Remove the Filter: Carefully remove the air filter using the model-specific instructions and videos above.
3. Remove Dust and Debris: Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to gently remove accumulated dust and debris.
4. Wash the Filter (If Applicable): If your model has a washable filter, rinse it with water and gently remove any remaining dirt. Follow the cleaning instructions specified for your filter.
5. Allow the Filter to Dry: If washed, let the filter air-dry completely before reinstalling it.
6. Reinstall the Filter: Securely reinstall the filter, reconnect power, and turn on the unit. Make sure the filter is properly positioned.
