Unit operates only when outdoor temperature is above the minimum ambient limit (see specifications). This safeguard prevents improper operation or damage at low outdoor temperatures.
The cooling unit will only operate when the outdoor ambient temperature is above the minimum specified operating temperature listed in the unit’s specifications. If the outdoor temperature falls below this ambient threshold, the system automatically prevents cooling operation to protect components and ensure proper performance.
When the temperature is above the minimum ambient limit, the unit will respond normally to a call for cooling from the thermostat or control system. However, if the temperature is below that limit, the unit will not run, even if cooling is requested.
