This article is a step-by-step guide to explain how to remove the display board safely.
To remove the display, we should ensure no power is entering the unit during this process. In addition, the unit does not have to be removed from the wall
1. We would need to remove the front panel of the PTAC unit.
2. Remove the screws attached to the display board. Blue circles are highlighted to identify the screws.
3. Once removed, turn the display board around and you will see the screws highlighted in blue in the image below. We will need to unscrew and detach the display board from the harness. This will give you access to remove the display board.
