Why is my unit not blowing air?
If your unit is on but there is little or no airflow, follow the steps below to identify the issue.
π Quick Checks
Before troubleshooting, confirm:
- Unit is powered ON
- Unit is not in OFF mode
- Unit is set to HEAT mode
π Click to set your unit to Heat mode - Air filter is clean and properly installed
If all are correct, continue below.
Step 1: Is the fan running?

No (no sound or airflow)
β Continue to Step 2 -
Yes (weak airflow)
β Go to Step 4
Step 2: Try changing fan settings
- Set fan to HIGH
- Switch modes (Cool / Heat / Fan)
Does the fan start?
- Yes β Issue resolved
- No β Continue to Step 3
Step 3: Check for blockage
- Turn OFF the unit
- Remove front cover
- Inspect fan wheel
Check:
- Debris blocking the fan
- Fan spins freely
- Stuck fan β Possible obstruction or motor issue
- Spins freely but wonβt run β Possible motor/control issue
Step 4: Is airflow weak?
- Yes β Continue to Step 5
- No β Issue resolved
Step 5: Check airflow path
- Clean air filter
- Ensure intake is not blocked
Test again
Step 6: Restart the unit
- Turn OFF
- Wait 1β2 minutes
- Turn ON
Check airflow
Issue still not resolved?
This may indicate:
- Fan motor failure
- Control board issue
- Internal wiring issue
